Frédéric Le Van

After studying communication and language sciences, Frédéric found himself in an office in a high-rise building in La Défense, France, where he stumbled around for a few years. Eventually escaping, he began to breathe easier and write better – various things, songs, poetry, stories, novels, theater, e-mails and reminders on the fridge. He set up a small self-employed business correcting academic texts and essays (literature, humanities and social sciences). At the same time, he discovered the street arts and began collaborating with dance, theater and circus companies, ranging from communication/dissemination to artistic collaboration.

In particular, he works in clown diffusion with Cie Claudia N, in circus cogiteur with Rouge Elea, in theatrical and strolling adaptation with Les Fugaces (Nous les Oiseaux), in refining intentions for Nil Bosca’s solo piece Euphrate, in object theater with Cie 25 Watts, in dance theater with Cie 1er mars (Happy Water), Cie To Mix or Not (W.. .is..HH and La Matière des Émotions), Débordante Cie (Loin) and Cie BurnOut (Quintette, Samsara, Ineffable, Imperfecto, In Situ and Imminentes).
