Melinda Espinoza

Dancer, acrobat and actress, Melinda has been training professionally since 2017 between Switzerland and Spain. Beginning her path at Zarti’cirque, a Swiss circus school, she quickly became interested in another form of stage language : physical theater. After graduating from the Arturo Bernal School, she completed her training in the art of movement by attending Wi Team’s urban and contemporary dance courses at Madrid’s Espacio Descalzinha Danza, where she was taught by such choreographers as Lali Ayguade, Luz Arcas and Mercedes Pedroche. During her studies, she created a solo in collaboration with a flamenco guitarist, which led to the creation of a short piece, with the support of the Lavapies Cultural Center. With the Troïka collective she co-founded, she also created the dance-theater piece See-Saw, which toured various festivals in Spain and France, winning several choreographic awards. In 2025, Melinda joined the BurnOut company as a performer in Imminentes.
