A feminine trio, Carte Blanche is a step in the construction and development of Jann Gallois’ gestural style. An interactive performance, Jann Gallois plays with giving the reins to the audience and trusting them with the direction of the evening. Much like the writer confronting the power of a blank page that represents infinite possibility, this work strengthens the choreographer in her signature style, the fruit of three laboratory research weeks, with all its freshness and surprises.
